When I first hoped to see Snow Angels in print, I decided to come up with a concept for the cover, and I drew this sketch. Actually I drew more than one, but this was the one that made me happiest at the time. I’m not much of an artist. Sometimes I impress myself—but then I’m easily impressed. Anyway, it seems appropriate to the season.
Snow Angels is available as a free e-book on my website. My multi-talented husband, Ken, created the cover art you see there.

I want to thank each and every one of you who has read and commented on Snow Angels. It’s gratifying to think that the internet can make this book available to people all over the world, so that if anyone anywhere who has internet access and can read English comes across it they can read it. I was reluctant to offer this book for free this way. I went through a lot of discussion and thought. It’s you who’ve commented here who assure me that I made the right decision. I hope that you find reading it worth your time.
Again, to everyone who’s read Snow Angels and commented (in reverse chronological order):
Munira, ANA, Jaaz, Anna, Katrina, Sapna, Susana, Tammyd, Nora, Jessica, Cathy, Zenia, PJ, 12no, Baula, Asha, Trish, Aresi, Sarah, and the 5 Anonymouses —
Thank you all! You’re very kind to take the time to say what you thought of Snow Angels.

I think the reson for [spoiler snipped by admin] betterness towards Tess was not that that good enough to be soo cruel towars Tess and her family.

I absolutely loved this book. It was enjoyable because it kept me reading and it was unlike other mystery romance novels that I’ve read. The characters were unique and loved Tess and Joe!

Cathy, I’m so glad you enjoyed Snow Angels. Thank you for commenting. I’m sorry to say Shadows Fall isn’t available in its entirety online. It’s self-published, and our resources and distribution channels are limited.

I think that it’s a wonderful book. I couldn’t stop reading it. You did great job of suspecting multiple characters that I couldn’t predict the end, and that is hard to do with me. Also, your sketch is great, and speaking as an artist myself, I think you should sketch more.

Wonderful arts, Babara, amazing!
But it really sucks that [spoiler snipped by admin], it hurts much more than just an accident. Anyone who suffers such a drama would feel part of himself dying at the moment. If everyone cares about others more at all times, such tragedies may not have happened. We should all learn to appreciate and love!
By the way, the cover is really a fantastic art, and also the cover of shaddows fall.
A talented genius is Ben, I love the style it displays.
And both have very beautiful names, , , great!!!
I love them! Thanks for Ben’s and your talent.

After reading Snow Angels, everyone should order a copy of Shadows Fall. I am nearly finished reading it and it’s a dandy — a suspenseful tale that grabbed me with the first paragraph. It defies genre because it’s not just some clickity-clack mystery/detective yarn. Barbara crafts a tale that is rich with character development and sweeping descriptive phrasing. Nearly every page is a cliffhanger. I’ve never had so much fun while being in a state of constant, perplexed concern for a protagonist. It’s nearly 600 pages long — and I don’t want it to end!
