Snow Angels

When I first hoped to see Snow Angels in print, I decided to come up with a concept for the cover, and I drew this sketch. Actually I drew more than one, but this was the one that made me happiest at the time. I’m not much of an artist. Sometimes I impress myself—but then I’m easily impressed. Anyway, it seems appropriate to the season.

Snow Angels is available as a free e-book on my website. My multi-talented husband, Ken, created the cover art you see there.

I enjoyed Snow Angels. I’m an avid reader and love thriller/mysteries. I usually can solve it b/4 the end, but it took me longer than usual to guess [spoiler snipped by admin] was involved. Good read!

  2. j. says:

it was pretty good. sappy in some parts but good all the same.

I was so engaged in this story, I couldn’t think of anything else until I was done. It was so well written and kept me on my toes of who had done it! Usually I figures things out well before the end, but this time it was not so. Great writing!!!!! I’m highly impressed!

  6. I am in Costa Rica with my husband, who is on sabbatical and studying Spanish at a language institute. We have been here 1 month and will be here for another month. I love to read, but could only bring a few books with me, because of weight limit for luggage. So I was on the Internet, desperately looking for something to read when I came across your book, “Snow Angels.” Once I started reading, I didn’t want to stop even to sleep. It is really, really good! Thank you for writing it and posting it on the Internet. I have written your name down and plan to look for your books when I get home. Please keep writing!

This is such a beautiful story. It shows some real hardships but everything works out in the end. From the first chapter,I was completely hooked, I couldn’t stop reading it!! It just goes to show that whatever happens, the truth will always come out! So a big congratulations to the Author of this story – Barbara!! Snow Angels is brilliantly written, so simply explained yet very detailed, i found i could really get familiar with the places in the story. Have you written many other ebooks? This was my first ebook and it was totally awesome!!!

Wish [snipped by admin] could have been reformed or something. Some elements of this story reminded me of ‘The Secret Hope’ by Constance Robinson. but this one is far better & not “christian”y!
Wish u all the best for ur future books.

The story is definetely worth reading… cant stop until we reach the last page… excellent work..
The plot is good but after sometime it had become very predictable. The intial chapters were also a bit dragged. So finally with little suspense and more twists and turns, this could have been more interesting to read….

  16. Carmen says:

I thought it was wonderfully written. I would switch back and forth between who the killer was. It was Rose, no it’s Angie. Maybe it was Jessica, or even Alan. I couldn’t wait to find out what happened. Every moment I had, I would read. Wonderful, absolutely wonderful.

this is a great story. i loved it. couldn’t go to bed without finishing it.

  23. Anonymous says:

Thank you for the escape, although I couldn’t finish the Prologue because it was too close to the real life experience I had shortly after turning 18. So many things like that do separate us unnecessarily from family and home, like in your story, sometimes forever.

So, thank you for the catharsis, for a feeling that there might be justice someday, even if we only imagine it.

  24. amazed says:

Hi barbara ur book was amazing, romantic, and full of suspence so that we would have to keep turning the pages. Not many authors these days have the ability to create a masterpiece without including any bad parts in the story u see the problem is that most novels have too much shall i say sexual content( to much info!! ) which in my opinion is totally unnecesary neways keep up the good work and wish u all the best in ur future novels!!!!!

P.S : sorry about all the bad spelling,

I read this whole book tonight and I thought it was pretty good. I read an average of 4 books a weeks so that’s not exactly a feat for me, but impressing me with a story IS and that’s what you’ve done.

  42. Lynne says:

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, I couldnt stop reading once I started.

Agatha Christie eat your heart out, this was better, much better and I will email it to all my friends here in South Africa

  45. carmen Rivera says:

The story was sweet yet it had its mystery and very well done. This is not a pinky story . It was a well paced with a strong plot on the way. I would like to read more of her novels.

  46. I found this last night during a bout of insomnia. I was surprised, when my body’s natural exhaustion finally caught up to me, how badly I actually WANTED to stay awake to keep reading this.

I’m a mystery writer myself, and I’m extremely impressed with the pacing of this book. Far, far better than a lot of the pulp novels on the shelves. Very well done, Ms. Klaser!!

  47. Anonymous says:

Fascinating. But I think there should be more mystry than this. It’s a good work anyway.

  48. jo says:

  49. Seth Isaac Lesmeister says:

This is what I would call a page turner. (If there were pages!) Reading this story made me feel like I was watching a movie. I liked the thrilling suspence, and I had no clue who the evil people were until the very end. It was a wonderful Mystery and it made my down time at work filled with adventure!
Thank you so much for the entertainment!

  50. Anonymous says:

Thank you for that story. It kept me riveted right ot the end. Loved it a lot. It reminded me of the fears I had when I was raped. The fears still have a hold on me, but this story though fictional, showed me that there is still hope. Thank you for that. Keep writing and inspiring others with your gift. Again thanks for the story and the hope. Good bless you.
