I pretty much played and had fun. I lived there between the ages of 2-1/2 and 5 years, so I don't even remember much about it. I know the place better from visits when I was older. My parents did lots of things there. My grandmother owned a cafe, called the Curtain Cafe, where my mom helped out. My dad did a little of everything from working at a gas station, to driving trucks, to delivering supplies to college students who lived in fire lookout towers, and fighting fires himself.
