The mountains are hinting at fall and will soon be ablaze in color. It really is glorious. Wish you were here. :)

Eric --- I hope your heat wave is over by now. Yesterday our weather changed, with clouds piling up all day. I woke up this morning to a cool, gentle rain. I'm loving it.

Cas --- You should! You seem to know how to keep it fun.

Creechman --- I just want fall to last for a few months. I'm not anywhere near ready for the holiday madness to begin. That happens to be my favorite old holiday movie, though.

I am so ready for a hint of cooler weather. It changes your whole mood. Get into the Jimmy Stewart, Donna Reed deal.

It's nice to hear from you. We are getting a preview of autumn here in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. It's pretty, but a bit sparse.

I think I should start a course called, "Blogging Should Be Fun". It's nice to hear from you when the mood strikes.

Have a wonderful evening.

I love the fall colors but hate the cold and snow which eventually follow. We've been having record breaking heat this past week in the northeast with temps in the upper eighties. It's weird seeing yellow leaves falling when it is 87 on the thermometer. The real display hasn't quite started. It seems to get later every year. The mountains here become incredible works of art, yet a painting of them would just look garish.

I totally agree. One shouldn't apologize for sporadic blogging. Why it is downright virtuous to only blog when you are really inspired!
