We've been having record breaking heat this past week in the northeast with temps in the upper eighties. It's weird seeing yellow leaves falling when it is 87 on the thermometer. The real display hasn't quite started. It seems to get later every year. The mountains here become incredible works of art, yet a painting of them would just look garish. I totally agree. One shouldn't apologize for sporadic blogging. Why it is downright virtuous to only blog when you are really inspired! I love the fall colors but hate the cold and snow which eventually follow.
