The Valerian patch was always inhabited by my Cat, when I still had him. But he loved Catnip as well…I always knew when he had overdone it, as he would react in a hilarious way!

Never thought, that in some countries don`t know about cats love to the valerian
In Russia everybody knows about this

News to me too. I’ve had cats who are crazed for catnip and others who are totally indifferent to it. One place I lived the catnip that grew around the edges of the yard in spots was always well chewed.
