What a lovely season in which to be born! I do hope by now you have had rain, I believe I did see something about mudslides in California?

Rain is what is missing here in the Cariboo. We’re very dry here, and I so long for it. Autumn is glorious with golden aspens and birches and fields carpeted in golds and browns. Lovely!

The Cold will arrive soon enough!

Autumn is the time for me where nature changes in millions of colors. For example leaves get red and brown and it is also the time for harvesting. I love this time very much.

Yes, I think that spring and fall are the two main reasons I couldn’t think of leaving New England. I suppose it’s what you’re used to, and many transplants here hate the winter and summer enough to overshadow the other two seasons.

Rain is predicted for the coming week. Of course, just when I don’t need it! But I do hope we get some. This So Cal weather is wonderful, isn’t it? Cloudy mornings, cool afternoons, with a hint of chill before nightfall.

Autumn is my favorite season – winter comes in last. I lived in South Carolina for 10 years and loved it, and remember autumn being nice there.
